Secaucus man seriously injured after fire

The fire, which was contained to 𓃲a single unit, is under investigation, according to authorities

The Hudson County Regional Arson Task Force, the Secaucus Fire Department, and the Secaucജus Police Department are investigating a fire that left a 56-year-old man with serious injuries.

At approximately 2:34 p.m. on Friday, April 8 the Secaucus Police Department and the Secaucus Fire Department received multiple smoke detector notifications from aꦜ fou🍸rth floor residence at 777 Fifth Street.

Upon arrival, the Secaucus Fire Department found heavy smoke in apartment 406 and a 56-year-🌃old man inside the unit with life threatening injurie🌟s.

The man was transported to Hudson Regional Hospital and thenꦫ transferred to the West Chester Medical ꧙Center Burn Unit where he remains in critical condition.

The fire 𝄹was contained to the single unit and the Cause 🌟and Origin remain under investigation by the Hudson County Regional Arson Task Force, the Secaucus Fire Department, and the Secaucus Police Department.
