A Union City man has been arrested on charges he allege🐻dly sexually assaulted a girl when she was between ages 6♉ and 8, according to Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez. On Jan. 27 members of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit arrested Rodrigo Rivera, 65, of Union City.
The victim is now 28 years old and rep🎐orted the assaults 🙈occurred inside a Jersey City residence.
R🎃ivera has been charged with Aggravated Sexual Assault, a crime of the first degree, and Sexual Assault, a crime of the second degree.
Riveꦚra was arrested in Hackensack at approximately 5:20 p.m. and was remanded to the Hudson County Correctional Facility pending his first𒈔 court appearance.
The Prosecutor’s Off꧙ice has filed a Detention Motion which i𝄹s scheduled for Feb. 2.
Prosecutor Suarez credited the Special Victims Unit with the investigati🍰on and a🧔rrest.
