1. Grand Vin – Best Hoboken Restaurant Right Now

Cuisine: Italian
Location: 500 Grand Street
Looking for a perfect place for a date🃏 night? Then Grand Vin might just be the perfect place for that in🐬 Hoboken.
With a classy, refined wine selection and authentic Italian cuisine, it’s a great way to en𒐪d the evening with someone special. We’♈re big fans of the baked eggplant appetizer, not to mention their amazing pappardelle with scallops.
The staff is attentive and very knowledgeab🎀le. They will absolutely be able to help you pair a wine with your meal without making you look like a doofus and provide a cozy, personable touch.
You will want to call ahead and make a reservation, though, especially for the weekend as the Grand Vin fillꦛs up fast.
Popular dishes include the GV Chicken, which comes topped with burrata and prosciutto in a vodka sauce, the pappardelle mentione🍨d above, and the squid ink linguini. And as one of the best restaurants in Hoboken, Grand Vin also offers gluten-free pasta substitutions.
2. Fiore’s House of Quality – Best Deli Sandwiches in Hoboken

Cuisine: Deli
Location: 414 Adams St
You can’t throw a loaf ꦰof bread in any direction without hitting a decent deli in Hoboken, but as꧑ far as we’re concerned, you can’t beat Fiore’s.
For our money you can’t beat the roast beef special – a fresh roll stuffed with roast beef, in-house mutz (mozzarella chees✃e), and gravy. It’s probably one of the finest sandwiches to grace the Earth, but it’s also easy to miss as Fiore’s only serves it on Thursdays and Saturdays.
But even if you can’t make it for the roast beef, you’ll be more than happy with their cold cuts, stuffed pepper🍸s, and whatever else they might be serving up. Don’t forget to ask about the daily special – not many restaurants in Hoboken NJ have specials like this.
The sandwiches are absolutely massive, so unless you’re looking to feed a couple of people, half a sandwich is probably more than enough for your 💝lunch.
3. La Isla – Best Cuban Cuisine in Hoboken

Cuisine: Cuban
Location: 104 Washington St
A true gem in Hoboken, La Isla is the perfect place to experience authentic Cuban cuisin🎃e.
This cozy restauraℱnt is often filled with the enticing aromas of traditional Cuban dishes like Bistec de Palmilla, Pollo al Ajillo, and f꧅usion dishes like Arroz Chino Cubano.
Their selection of sandwiches, including a f🦄antastic rendition of the🦩 Cubano, is also well worth checking out.
La Isla’s commitment to a💟uthenticity is a refreshing change of pace. It gives diners a chance to try ingredients they might not find elsewhere, and it serves up so꧑me of the best breakfasts in the city.
We’re big fans of the Las Iಞsla Huevos Rancheros here – a perfect dish for your💎 next dinner in Hoboken.
4. Karma Kafe – Best Indian Restaurant in Hoboken, NJ

Cuisine: Indian
Location: 505 Washington St
It’s hard to beat a good samosa, and Karma Kafe knocks it out of the park with its exceptio𒅌nal Indian cuisine. Every dish is chock-full of rich f♏lavors and aromatic spices.
We found an extensive menu filled with classic dishes and more modern twists. Before we went, we were told t🌄hat the Chicken Tikka Masala and Saag Paneer were some of the best in the city – and we’re inclined to agree.
From kebabs to marinate💝d seafood to some of the best Biryani we’ve had, the cooks at Karma Kafe show they know exactly what they’🦹re doing in the kitchen.
The vegetarian menu is also worth noting, with a huge selection of g꧃reat options ranging from Bagare Baigan, a delicious sauteed eggplant dish, to Paneer Palak, cheese cubes in a flavorful spinach sauce.
The decor is warm and inviting, the service is impeccable, and it’s perfectly possible (reasonable, even) to eat yourself sick on 💛Garlic Naan while washing it doꩵwn with glass after glass of delicious Mango Lassi.
5. Margherita’s – Next Best Thing to Nonna’s Cooking

Cuisine: Italian Home Cooking
Location: 740 Washington St
While there’s no substitute for 🌟grandma’s home-cooked meals, Margherita’s comes clo🍒se.
From their mozzarella-covered Chicken Parmigiana to the zesty Linguine with Clam Sauce, everything is served up in loving Nonna-sized portions and is j♔am-packed with fla🤪vor.
Like many of the great eateries in Hoboken, Margherita’s has entered the brunch scene𝐆 and offers some serious contenders, like Ricotta Toast, Eggs Pomodoro, and a surprisingly decadent Italian Eggs Benedict.
Margherita’s serves wine and a variety of cocktails but also permits diners to bring their 🅘own wine, beer, or champagne – though corkage fees will be applied to your bill, depending on what you bring in.
6. Court Street Restaurant and Bar – Best Steaks and Burgers
View this post on Instagram
Cuisine: American
Location: 61 6th Street
The more carnivorous citizens of Hoboken will f꧑ind a lot to love at Court Street.
Celebrated by locals for its juicy stakes and hearty burgers, Court Street is known fo🍬r serving up some truly massive portions, creating a true American dining experience.
Even the basic burger is a whopping half-pound of Angus beef and comes with regular, shoe-string, or waffle fries (we’re suckers for waffle fries).
Court St💯reet also does a fantastic Reuban if you’re looking to mix things up.
Otherwise♛, we recommend checking out the Filet Mignon and the New Zealand Rack of Lamb, which is 16o🍸z of lamb with fresh rosemary and roasted garlic.
And if you or 🅘someone in your family are meat-averse, there are plenty of solid vegetarian options🃏 including a grilled portobello sandwich, a lovely angel hair pasta dish, and more.
7. Napoli’s – Best Pizza in Hoboken (Neapolitan Style)
View this post on Instagram
Cuisine: Pizza
Location: 1118 Washington St
Trying to slap “The Best Pizza in Hoboken” on any single place is basically impossible. Everybody has their favorite joint and even heꦫre in the office, we nearly had three full-blown riots just trying to nominate names for this c🍸ategory.
Ultimately, we settled on Napoli’s Pizza – one of the be♓st places to eat in H🦩oboken.
Whether you’re going for the classics or one of their many specialty pizzas, you’re guaranteed to have a phenomenal pie. Although, we all agree that The Brick has a better buffalo chicken pizza – sorry Napoli’s.
Their sandwiches, wraps, and paninis are every bit as good as the pizza as well, and while we’ve heard good things about their gluten-free pizza crusts, none of us have been💎 brave enough to try them.
While ♒there🎃 are plenty of good pizzas here in town, Napoli’s is tough to beat.
