From Childhood Dreams to Reality: The Journey of Foxy Green
Dirty Hippie Studio is a dream come true for Foxy, who has loved art since childhood. Growing up, Foxy was always dra🐓wing or painting, and when 𓄧she moved to Jersey City in 2013, she kept that passion alive.
She went to Dickinson ꩲHigh School and also joined the Visual Performing Arts Program at Snyder High School.
There, she met Jessica Ward, a teacher who helped her a l🅠ot by teaching her to create self-portraits and explore the world of ar𝓡t.
As she got older, Foxy became interested in vintage items and started collecting second-hand treasu🍷res. And this interest sparked her entrepreneurial side.
During the pandemic, she began making jewelry from vintage charms and selling it online. The success of her online shop inspired her to create a physical space where local artists could share their 🍌work, leading to the birth of Dirty Hippie Studio.
Her own experiences shape Foxy’s vision for the studio. She remembers feeling out of plac🎃e in traditional art spaces when she was younger, which held her back.
Determined to make things different for others, Foxy opened Dirty Hippie Studio as a welcoming space where artists could express themselves f𓄧reely.
A Retro Wonderland: Inside Dirty Hippie Studio
